Meet OKO, it automates plant care so you can easily go green

If you love the idea of filling your home with vibrant greenery but worry about keeping it all alive, the new OKO plant care assistant might be just what you need.
OKO brings the same high-tech tools farmers use to monitor large-scale crops right into your living space.
That means a set of smart sensors that watch over your plants closely and send updates straight to your phone about what they need.

The goal? To help you enjoy a lush, green home without the stress or guesswork that comes with plant parenting.
Right now, OKO is live on Kickstarter—and it’s already blown past its funding goal with 27 days still left to go.
How does OKO work?
Just attach the OKO unit to your plant’s soil, and it’ll track water levels, temperature, air humidity, and pH.
The OKO app connects to the sensor and sends you alerts (just like a text message) whenever your plant needs attention.
It runs on WiFi and Bluetooth and has a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts up to three months on just a one-hour USB-C charge.
The app also includes a care calendar, so you can track when you last watered, fertilized, or even snapped a photo to add to your plant’s timeline.
All this tech comes from an MBE-awarded agritech engineer who specializes in large-scale farming solutions—so you know it’s been carefully designed to do the job right.
How much does OKO cost?
